I recently had the total pleasure of being a guest on Connecting the Dots the youtube talkshow offering media analysis of the world of sex, connection and power hosted by my friend and fellow survivor Ignacio Rivera of The HEAL Project. Ignacio and I decided to re-watch the icon 2002 Jennifer Lopez movie Revenge in which she plays a domestic violence survivor who (spoiler alert) kills her husband in self-defense following the most badass training sequence known to film.
Ignacio and I talk about the healing power of revenge fantasies (of which this movie is definitely one!),  the line between revenge and self-defense, and the role that revenge fantasies can play in healing as we work towards non-violent accountability. Thank you so much to Ignacio for inviting me to have this conversation with you! This video is sponsored by The HEAL Project (THP), an initiative to prevent and end childhood sexual abuse (CSA) through healing the wounds of sexual oppression and embracing sexual liberation: http://www.heal2end.org
